Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) is again raising diabetes awareness and helping those with the disease and/or ones who love and care for them with its ninth annual Diabetes Dialogue Day.
SAN MARCOS, TX – Diabetes is emerging as a major health concern in Central Texas. Diabetes can cause problems with the blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, heart and more.
Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) is again raising diabetes awareness and helping those with the disease and/or ones who love and care for them with its ninth annual Diabetes Dialogue Day. The event is free to the community and will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the CTMC Community Classroom. Guests will be treated to a healthy breakfast and lunch, screenings, information from local vendors and physicians, tote bags and door prizes.

Additionally, a free glucose screening and diabetes risk assessment is available on the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the CTMC Main Lobby. The next opportunity will take place on Nov. 1.
