Regional And National Expansion Plans Announced By Innovative Education Group

“BRAINATION offers an education that is truly groundbreaking in the U.S.,” said BRAINATION Superintendent and CEO Bruce Rockstroh.

The organization responsible for San Antonio’s internationally recognized Anne Frank Inspire Academy and the John H. Wood  public charter district expands  its offerings and pronounces its vision under the new parent organization brand name—BRAINATION.

Currently operating 10 campuses in nine counties across Texas, BRAINATION will continue to challenge the limits of traditional education, introducing innovative teaching techniques, modern learning spaces and contemporary curriculum.

“BRAINATION offers an education that is truly groundbreaking in the U.S.,” said BRAINATION Superintendent and CEO Bruce Rockstroh. “We are proud to announce this new era of growth and new name, BRAINATION, making our proven education model more accessible to students here and throughout the country.”

The launch of the BRAINATION brand coincides with the beginning of a substantial expansion plan that includes new schools throughout Texas, as well as spreading their unique education model to other parts of the country through partnership affiliations.

One such recent endeavor included their partnership with San Antonio Independent School District, placing BRAINATION at the helm of the district’s alternative school for students struggling with emotional or behavioral disorders.

BRAINATION also continues a strong working relationship with the Atlanta, Georgia-based School Growth Foundation whose mission is to evolve the education system in the U.S.

This momentum is anchored with the recent expansion of BRAINATION’s Anne Frank Inspire Academies, which launched a middle school in 2013 and has broadened their offerings to include elementary and high school campuses.

“Although the environments at BRAINATION campuses may differ, the same innovative teaching methods are engrained in each location. The new brand communicates our mission of increasing the capacity of human greatness for our country and its next generation as a unified BRAINATION,“ added Rockstroh.

The Anne Frank Inspire Academy is a free, public charter school currently enrolling students in grades Kindergarten through 11th via a lottery.

The school is located at 10325 Bandera Road. The JHW Inspire Academies are schools located in residential treatment facilities, focusing on rehabilitating students with various behavioral challenges.

BRAINATION is a family of premier private schools and public charter schools based in San Antonio with a mission “to increase the capacity for human greatness”. The vision behind BRANATION is to design, build and operate preeminent 21st century schools that will become models for learning around the world. BRAINATION is proud to partner with the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam to name its flagship school in honor of one of the most inspiring and courageous students, Anne Frank. The Anne Frank Inspire Academy, designed by the internationally renowned firm Fielding Nair International, opened in 2013.  To learn more about AFIA, visit www.inspireacademies.com.
