Code SMTX began in July of 2014 and has included a tremendous amount of work from residents, community members, and stakeholder groups.
Throughout the Code SMTX planning process, a number of public events have also been held including the week long Code SMTX Code Rodeo, Environmental Workshops, Neighborhood Workshops, Zoning for Character Workshops, and most recently, Planning and Zoning and City Council Workshops.
This work has come to fruition with the completion of the Final Draft of Code SMTX released on October 13, 2017.
This Final Draft is scheduled for the first public hearing and consideration on November 14 at the regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
