City of Kyle hosts city wide cleanup event

Staff Reports

KYLE, TEXAS – The City of Kyle invites all Kyle residents to bring their bags, bulky waste and the junk piling up in the corners and drop it off for free at the City Wide Cleanup Event from 8-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 5 at Gregg-Clarke Park.

“Our aim with this event is to provide the community with an opportunity to dispose of any trash and unwanted items at no cost to them,” Kyle Code Enforcement Officer Duarte Pamplona said. “But this event also helps us get the word out about all the available resources we have for our residents to help keep their properties in compliance — like two bulk picks ups per year and one free monthly drop off to the landfill — as well as build the relationship between Code Enforcement and the Community so that we can all work together to keep the City of Kyle a safe and beautiful place to live, which is the ultimate goal of Code Enforcement.”

Attendees must:

  • Reside within city limits

  • Bring a photo ID
