Johnson & Johnson Vaccines available this July 4 at Hays County Courthouse

Staff Reports

Hays County Courthouse, TX – Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines will be available this Sunday, July 4, from 3-8 p.m. at the Historic Hays County Courthouse, 111 E. San Antonio St. The Texas Army National Guard will be administering the shots, which are free and available to anyone age 18 and older.*

The vaccine event will take place inside the Courthouse on the first floor. Ramp access to the building is on the Hopkins Street side (north entrance). No appointment, identification or insurance are required.

The J&J vaccine is a one-shot dose, so no follow-up booster is needed.

“We are offering another option for Hays County residents who aren’t able to make it to the many other vaccine clinics and locations throughout the county,” said Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra. “Our hope is to reach everyone who wants a vaccine so that we can move forward together as a community and achieve overall immunity from COVID-19.”
