San Marcos Businessman Wins Top 5 Award

Money Concepts International celebrated their 37th anniversary of the only independent financial planning & wealth management firm to start as a franchise, and then continued to run their business as an entrepreneur,  in Nashville, July 10-14, 2016.

Ruben Ruiz, an independent advisor from San Marcos, TX and Regional Director for Money Concepts Texas, brought home two national awards. The first was ‘The Apex Club’ award for being in the top 5 percent of all associates that manages assets and portfolios. And the second award, The Bronze Award, in recruiting new associates to Money Concepts to be in the business of financial advisory.

There was a total of 24 associates from Texas that attended the week-long conference. Financial advisors came from all over the USA.

One of the major reasons for attending the conference is for compliance, which included the new DOL law for retirement plans and changes in the Market & Financial Services industry.

In addition, there were several National Presenters that spoke including Dr. Quincy Krosby, on ‘Understanding the Economy & Navigating the Markets,’ and Dr. Kevin Elko, on ‘Peak Performance.’ There were more than 50 workshops available for all those attending.
