UNIVERSITY DR BETWEEN LBJ & GUADALUPE: All lanes in both directions will be closed for a drainage project through Dec. 21. Detour signs will direct traffic around the construction zone. City of San Marcos CIP/Engineering Dept. 512.393.8130

McCARTY LANE: As part of the City’s new pavement management program to provide preventative maintenance to city streets, McCarty Lane from IH-35 to the railroad crossing will undergo street maintenance daily from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Project length is estimated 4 to 6 weeks, weather permitting. MILL ST: The second phase of street maintenance will continue on Mill Street as part of the City’s new pavement management program to provide preventative maintenance to City Streets. Maintenance will begin Dec. 14 and last approximately 1 to 2 weeks, weather permitting. Vehicles should be parked off the street or they may be towed at owners’ expense. WONDERWORLD DR/STAGECOACH TRAIL: A photoshoot will be taking place on Wonderworld Dr. access road between S. Stagecoach Trail & IH-35 on Dec. 16 from 6 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. There will be intermittent closures by officers in marked patrol vehicles who will then allow local traffic to proceed under direction of officers. 500 – 600 BLOCK OF N. EDWARD GARY: All lanes in both directions will be closed to remove all asphalt and base on Dec. 14, 2015 – Jan. 11, 2016 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. Texas State University, 512.245.2202

500 BLOCK N. FREDERICKSBURG: A construction project on N. Fredericksburg St. entrance to San Jacinto Residence Hall Parking Garage will begin Dec. 14, 2015 and continue through Jan. 13, 2016 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. for installation of site utilities. TRAIL RIDGE PASS:  All lanes in both directions will be closed on Trail Ridge Pass from Jacob Lane to Old Stagecoach Rd. for the maintenance of a new street on Dec. 7 – 21 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting. DNT Construction, LLC, 512.837.6700

817 CHESTNUT ST: One lane will be closed for new construction to site on Dec. 7 through June 2, 2016. Street will continue to be passable to all traffic. J4 Development, 469.236.0922

CENTERPOINT/TANGER PREMIUM OUTLET INTERSECTION:  The intersection will be under construction for a new traffic signalization project from 9 p.m. till 8 a.m. nightly and is scheduled for completion after Jan. 1, 2016. 333 STAGECOACH TRAIL: The outside westbound lane in front of Hernandez Elementary School will be closed for street maintenance on Nov. 19 – Dec. 19 from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Cox Commercial Construction, 512.222.1114

200 BLOCK PLEASANT STREET: Nov. 24 – Dec. 22 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 200 block of Pleasant Street, near the Trinity and Agriculture buildings on the Texas State University campus, will be closed in both directions for the installation of underground utility lines. LINDA DRIVE: New driveway approaches will be installed on Linda Drive between Sherbarb and Bugg Lane through Dec. 18, 2015, weather permitting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding weekends. City of San Marcos Drainage Dept., 512.393.8019

HWY 80 FROM CLAREWOOD TO IH-35: TxDot is widening SH 80 from Clarewood to IH-35 to allow a second left lane for traffic traveling from SH 80 to South IH-35. Construction will last approximately three months, weather permitting. TxDOT, 512.924.1715

EAST SAN ANTONIO STREET: Every Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Half a block of street closed from the alley to N. LBJ for the Farmers Market on the Square. Main Street Program, 512.393.8430

LONG TERM ROAD PROJECTS:

• NORTH LBJ FROM CAMARO WAY TO CRADDOCK: This road will be open to two-way traffic, but the lanes will be shifted west to allow space for the City contractor to construct a new lift station on the corner of N.
