Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 to 24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training.

RBFCU Teaches Students
Michelle Herrera, Specialist/ Financial Literacy for the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union (RBFC) is teaching the Gary Job Corps Center’s students that will be graduating within 90 days about money matters, budgeting, credit, and other financial information.
Ms. Herrera focuses on what the students will need to be successful once they graduate and find employment.

Community Relations Council Luncheon
The Gary Job Corps Center (GJCC) hosted their quarterly Community Relations Council Luncheon on Friday.
The meeting focused on updates to GJCC, student education improvements, internship, upcoming community events through December, and the approval of the PFC Kristian Menchaca memorial highway on a stretch of highway 21 outside of the Gary Job Corps Center.
