Monthly Brush Drop Off Postponed one Week due to Weather

Drop Off Brushy Waste Saturday – 750 River Road

The City of San Marcos will postpone the January brushy waste drop-off to Saturday, Jan. 17 due to forcasts of inclement weather. The event lasts from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at 750 River Road for residential garbage and recycling service customers.

The brush drop off can be reached by taking the San Marcos Animal Shelter entrance at 750 River Road and following the signs.

Green waste that will be accepted includes tree/brush trimmings, leaves and grass clippings. Brush containing barbed wire or other metals will not be accepted. 

The service is open only to residential solid waste customers in San Marcos. Residents are invited to load and take ground up mulch at the site as available.
