Buda Releases Three Rabies Alerts

Buda officials have issued three rabies alerts; two of those alerts are from incidents on August 18. The third was announced earlier this week.

On Aug. 14, 2018 a deceased bat was found on the ground in the 400 block of Crooked Creek Road at approximately 9:10 AM.

The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.

On Aug. 18, 2018 a deceased bat was found in the pool area of the Fairfield Inn at approximately 9:10 AM.

The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.

On Aug. 18, 2018 a deceased bat was found on the ground at the corner of Main Street and Live Oak Street at approximately 2:07 PM.

The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.
