Wimberley Advises Residents To Follow County Shelter-At-Home Order

The City of Wimberley released a notice encouraging residents to review the Hays County Order.

The city has indicated that there are no city-issued restrictions residents should follow on top of the County’s order.

Under this Order, all individuals currently living within Hays County are ordered to stay at home at their place of residence.

All persons may leave their residences only for Essential Activities, to provide or perform Essential Governmental Functions, or to operate Essential Businesses.

Wednesday, Wimberley officials announced the closure of all city maintained and operated parks and public spaces as of 4 PM on March 25. The closures will remain in effect until further notice.
