Here’s The Holiday Schedules For Hays County, Local Municipalities

In preparation for the upcoming holiday, Friday, residents should review the following schedules for their local municipality. 

San Marcos

City of San Marcos offices, including City Hall, Activity Center, Animal Shelter, Municipal Court, Public Library, and Utility Offices will be closed on Friday, Jan. 1 for the New Year’s holiday.

The Municipal Court offices will also be closed Thursday, Dec. 31, and Friday, Jan. 1.

The Activity Center and the Animal Shelter will be closed Friday, Jan. 1. Emergency animal services are available by calling the San Marcos Police Department non-emergency line at 512.753.2108.

Texas Disposal Systems Holiday Schedule

Services from Friday, Jan. 1 will be completed on Saturday, Jan. 2. 

Buda

All-City of Buda offices, including the Buda Public Library, are closed on Friday, Jan. 1 in observance of Christmas and New Years’.

Kyle

Kyle City Offices are closed Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.

Hays County

Hays County offices are closed on the following dates:

• January 1, 2021

Please note, the Hays County Local Health Dept. will not issue COVID-19 reports between Jan. 1-3.

Curative testing sites are closed Dec. 31-Jan. 1.

Wimberley

Wimberley City Offices are closed Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
