Deceased Unidentified Male Found In Kyle Area

On Thursday, May 26, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1500 block of Cotton Gin Road in Kyle for a possible deceased person call. Area residents reported a strong odor coming from a stock tank and believed they observed a person floating in the water.

 

Upon arrival, officers discovered the badly decomposed remains of a male subject. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Due to the condition of the body, the only description available:

  • Hispanic male, 5’6” tall
  • Appears to have a tattoo between his shoulder blades that is partially observable, Last 2 letters may be “R O” in script lettering.
  • Deceased approximately one month.
  • No dental work

 

The subject was wearing:

 

  • Black Polo-type, Short-Sleeve Shirt, buttons engraved with “Grand Slam” “Air Walk” Camouflage Cargo-type Shorts with black canvas belt
  • Blue Boxer-Brief Underwear
  • Black Puma Ankle Sock on right foot only Subject was wearing White Fila Athletic Shoes
