City Of Buda Schedules Temporary Water Main Shut Off, Service Interruption
The water shut off is necessary to transfer service from a portion of the old waterline to the new waterline.
On the Hays County road construction project on FM 1626, the contractor will perform a temporary water shut off to perform waterline construction activities. This will impact West Buda. The shut off is scheduled to begin at 11:00 PM Wednesday night (February 21st) and will be completed in few hours by 3:00 AM on Thursday morning (February 22nd). The water shut off is necessary to transfer service from a portion of the old waterline to the new waterline.
Please do not use water and ensure irrigation systems are turned off during this time period. We also ask that residents run a faucet for 5 minutes Thursday morning (February 22nd), prior to use. We apologize for the inconvenience.
