Annual Dirt Dauber Festival returning

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – After a two-year hiatus, Dirt Dauber Festival will return to Eye of the Dog Art Center (EOTDAC) in San Marcos on May 14 and 15.

More than 40 area clay artists, live music, a variety of demonstrations, clay contests, and light refreshments are among the highlights of the free 2-day-celebration.

Dirt Dauber offers a free, family-friendly way to enjoy and learn more about clay arts on the unique, 12-acre campus of EOTDAC.

The eclectic site features a visual treat of art installations, and unique buildings — including a large open studio, a gallery, private studios, and a wooded courtyard that serves as home to an outdoor kitchen, stage, and most of the clay artists’ booths for the two-day event.
