Planned Road Closures This Weekend For Barton Springs Road At South Lamar

AUSTIN – Austin Water will perform wastewater line rehabilitation work in the intersection of Barton Springs Rd. and South Lamar Blvd. requiring lanes of traffic to be closed.

Road closures will begin on Friday, February 8 at 8 p.m. and will continue until Monday, February 11 at 5 a.m.

Westbound lanes on Barton Springs Rd. will be closed between South Lamar Blvd. and Jessie Street.

Traffic will be detoured onto South Lamar Blvd. Motorists traveling to Zilker Park from the east should choose an alternate route.

Please expect delays and exercise caution when driving in this area.
