HCLHD officials continue to urge individuals and families who socialize and/or travel during spring break to follow the best practices for health and safety protocols: regular vigorous hand washing, social distancing, wearing face masks and avoiding large crowds of people.
“We know this virus spreads rapidly among groups of people who spend time together,” Epidemiologist Ian Harris said. “That’s why we encourage everyone to avoid large crowds, which includes bars, parties and the beach.”
*The HCLHD did not receive any test results from Curative today, which may contribute to the number of new cases being low.
