Float Fest finds a new location in Gonzalez, Texas

This year Float Fest will take place on a 765-acre site in Gonzalez, Texas. The event is scheduled for July 23 through July 24 2022 featuring tubing events a weekend concert and camping.

In 2019 Float Fest was canceled due to the new festival site in Gonzalez experiencing construction delays and not being completed in time. Float Fest was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to COVID-19, the festival was held in Martindale.

Some of the headlining acts include Marshmello, DEADMAU5, Cage the Elephant and Chance the Rapper. 

Camping will be available for patrons who want to stay the full weekend as well as RV camping. A wristband allows access to camping grounds, but a camping pass must be purchased to stay overnight in the campgrounds. 

The festival offers a two-mile tube float down the Guadalupe River. At the time of publication, general admission for a one-day ticket costs $134 and general admission with the tubing bundle is $234. A VIP single-day ticket is $259 and the VIP premium ticket is $389.
