Miss Beautiful San Marcos 2017 Crowned

There were two portions of the pageant—beach wear, and evening gown. Judges Elena Duran, Amy Cogdill, and Daniel Montemayor scored the contestants throughout the pageant to decide who would become Miss Beautiful SMTX 2017.

On Friday June 9, Kia Davis was crowned as Miss Beautiful SMTX 2017 by reigning 2016 Miss Beautiful SMTX Stacey Becza at the second annual Miss Beautiful Pageant.

Kia received a $125 Visa gift card, a pearl necklace donated by Tanger Outlets, a sash, crown, and a bouquet.

Kory Kelly hosted, and nine contestants competing for the title of Miss Beautiful SMTX 2017. Salon Mink set up a station to help contestants with hair and makeup touch ups.

Pageant volunteers voted for the Best Smile – Rosa Angelina Gutierrez; Most Expressive – Kia Davis; and Most Inspirational – Haley Trimble. These three ladies received a beach bag filled with beach and manicure accessories.

Third runner up was awarded to Adriana Gonzalez, who received a bouquet and a $25 Visa gift card. Second runner up was awarded to Haley Trimble, who received a bouquet and a $50 Visa gift card. First runner up was awarded to Rosa Angelina Gutierrez, who received a bouquet and a $75 Visa gift card.

All winners received a custom “BeYOUtiful” canvas with the pageant logo on it as a keepsake.
