Hays County reports 116 new active COVID-19 cases

Hays County Courthouse, TX – Hays County Local Health Department (HCLHD) reports 116 new lab-confirmed cases along with eight (8) new hospitalizations and seven (7) new hospital discharges. There are 150 additional persons considered recovered. The total number of persons considered recovered is 17,096. Please note: today’s report covers April 17 – April 19.
The current total of lab-confirmed cases for Hays County since the beginning of the pandemic is 17,876. Hays County has 542 active cases. In the past 21 days there have been 759 active cases. Hays County has had 826 total COVID-related hospitalizations and 14 people are currently hospitalized.
