Hays County Sheriff Seeks Suspect In Assault Of Wimberley Homeowner

Callers are not required to leave a name and will not have to testify in court.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance regarding an incident in Wimberley on Friday, Sept. 1, at approximately 11:30 p.m.

According to the Hays County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to a call in Woodcreek North Subdivision of Wimberley/Woodcreek, Texas. The incident occurred in the area of Woodacre Drive and Happy Hollow Lane.

Authorities are looking for a white male subject described to be in his teens to early twenties, who forced his way into a residence and assaulted the homeowner.

Nothing was reported to have been taken. However, full details on the assault and information on the homeowner’s condition have not been released yet.

Investigators are asking area residents to remain vigilant and contact the Sheriff’s office immediately if anything suspicious or out of the ordinary is noticed.
