KSMB Spring Concert Series Features Those Nights

This week’s sustainability theme is resource recovery and food, with various booths featuring tips on recycling and community gardens in our area. 

The third concert in the Keep San Marcos Beautiful Live on the Lawn Concert Series will feature Those Nights on Thursday, April 19 at San Marcos Plaza Park, 401 E. Hopkins, located at the corner of CM Allen Parkway and Hopkins Street.

Pre-concert events begin at 6:30 p.m., and concert headliners take the stage at 7:30 p.m. 

Those Nights: Covering just about every genre, Those Nights is a band that can do almost everything. With their harmonizing vocals and hip hop flavor, the band will put a show that will leave the audience entranced.

Those Nights have showcased their talents at SXSW, Pecan Street Festival and even San Marcos’ own Mr. Fest. After just realizing their third album “Fine Line,” Those Nights will be ready to give us an amazing show.

In case of severe weather, the spring concert series will be moved to The San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins. Free public, on-street parking is available within walking distance of the concert, as well as at City Park.

The parking lots at the Chamber of Commerce and Old Fish Hatchery will be closed to the general public, and parking attendants will be on hand to allow for volunteer, vendor, and sponsor parking.

The parking lot at the Grant Harris, Jr. Building/Parks and Recreation main office is designated handicap accessible parking.

The public is invited to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the free concert. Responsible use of alcohol is allowed at this event for those over 21. Park rules prohibit Styrofoam, glass, and smoking.

The last act of Live on the Lawn will be on April 26 with Big Cedar Fever being the kick off for the 72* festival.
