Pets of the Week: Meet Selena & Zatara

Corridor Staff

Looking to adopt or foster animals from the local shelter? Here are the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter pets of the week! Spread the word to help these animals find their forever homes.

.

Dog of the Week: Selena (47553063)

Selena is a beautiful Norwegian Elkhound mix! We aren’t sure what happened to her ear before coming to the shelter, but it sure does make her unique and extra cute!

She loves her people and is super affectionate. Everywhere you go, Selena is sure to follow. She gets a little nervous in the car, but once on the road, she realizes that, hey, this is really fun!

She walks nicely on a leash and always greets you with a smile. This special lady is 49 pounds, 7 years old, and sure to steal your heart!

.

Cat of the Week: Zatara (47814030)

If it’s not Zatara’s way, it’s the highway! This sassy girl loves treats, catnip, and personal space.

Don’t get her wrong, she’s always happy to have a cuddle session with her hooman, but she does enjoy her alone time.

Whether it’s watching birds out the window or chasing the laser around the room, she will always keep a smile on your face!

Zatara is a peppy 4-year-old Tabby weighing in at 7 pounds. Aren’t you already in love with her?!
