Promotional, Ticketing information for upcoming volleyball season

SAN MARCOS — Texas State volleyball head coach Sean Huiet, in conjunction with the university’s athletic marketing and ticketing departments, announced Wednesday afternoon the marketing promotional schedule and ticketing information for the upcoming Bobcat volleyball season.
TICKETING:
Season tickets for the 2022 Texas State volleyball season begin at $50 for special groups, which include university faculty and staff, Bobcat Club members and “T” Association members. General public season tickets are $60. Seating for volleyball at Strahan Arena inside the University Events Center is all general admission.
Single-match tickets will go on sale on August 9, 2022.

Sept. 9-11: Bobcat Invitational – Black Out Weekend
- TXST black rally towel giveaway to the first 250 in attendance
- Free pizza, while supplies last, for all students

Sept. 30 vs. JMU – Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day
- Free pickle on a stick, while supplies last, for all in attendance
- Discounted ticket for all Texas State faculty & staff

Oct. 14-15 vs. Southern Miss. – Dig Pink Weekend
- TXST pink volleyball wristband giveaway to the first 250 in attendance
- TXST pink pom pom giveaway, while supplies last
- Silent auction, including TXST Volleyball gear, benefiting cancer awareness
- Pre-game youth clinic with the TXST Volleyball team

Oct. 28 vs. Arkansas State – Youth Volleyball Day & Halloween
- All youth are invited down to the court for to form the TXST starting lineup tunnel
- Youth team serves in between the second and third sets
- Post-game autographs from the TXST Volleyball team
- Postgame Halloween theme and trick-or-treating in the UEC
- In-game costume contest with special prize
Nov. 5 vs. Troy – Alumni Day & Senior Day
- TXST t-shirt swap: bring a shirt from another university and trade it for a TXST t-shirt
- On-court TXST Volleyball alumni recognitions
- Pre-game Senior Day presentations

Friday Youth Days
- Each Friday home game, all youth 12 and under are invited down to the court for post-game serves and autographs/meet the team with a rotation of TXST Volleyball student-athletes and coaches
The 2022 Texas State volleyball season will begin on Friday, Aug. 26 at 4:30 p.m. with a match against Texas Southern as part of a tournament hosted by UIW. The Bobcats’ first home match is at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 against Sam Houston to begin the Bobcat Invitational.
