Three Wimberley Residents Killed In Multi-Vehicle Collision On Ranch Road 12

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accidents occurred around 8 p.m.; three people were killed, and three were injured in the collision.

Three Wimberley residents were killed Friday, June 15, in a three-vehicle car accident on Ranch Road 12 outside San Marcos.

Daniel Masullo, 44 and his wife, Angela Masullo, 40, were killed when a 2006 Nisan Titan struck their vehicle head-on. The truck caught fire, and the driver, 22-year-old Ramiro Ramirez, was declared dead at the scene.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Masullo Family’s Lincoln SUV was the second vehicle Ramirez hit around 8 p.m. Friday Night. Ramirez is said to have clipped a Chevrolet Traverse when he merged into the southbound lane.

The driver of the Traverse suffered minor injuries after the vehicle spun out and slid along the guardrail. The Masullos’ two children were also injured in the collision.

According to a go fund me page set up for the family, the Masullos’ children were also injured in the collision; both children are being treated at an Austin Hospital and were in critical condition as of Sunday.

Wimberley Wellness, PLLC, where Angela Masullo was an office manager, announced on their Facebook page the clinic would be closed this week to allow employees to grieve.

According to the Family’s GoFundMe page, $10,000 in donations was raised within the first 10 hours; the money donated will go to help cover funeral expenses for Daniel and Angela and medical expenses for the two children.
