The San Marcos Commission on Children and Youth (SMCCY) has completed its first round of youth services funding, distributing $46,000 to ten different youth programs that satisfied needs of children in San Marcos, in line with the Youth Master Plan.
The following programs and amounts have been awarded to youth organizations in San Marcos between May 2016 and May 2017:

|Texas State University||Goal:POST After School Program||$5,000|
|Texas State University||Aquatic Science Adventure Camp||$5,000|
