San Marcos Premium Outlets Partners With Susan G. Komen®

Funds raised will go towards goal of reducing breast cancer deaths.

Austin – Barton Creek Square, The Domain, Lakeline Mall, Round Rock Premium Outlets and San Marcos Premium Outlets announced Monday their third year of national engagement with Susan G. Komen®, encouraging employees, retailers and shoppers at to participate in activities and contribute to the achievement of Komen’s bold goal of reducing current U.S. breast cancer deaths by 50 percent by 2026.

Komen over the last two years by participating in all of our fundraising activities,” said Jana Griswold, Area Director of Marketing for Barton Creek Square and Lakeline Mall. “We look forward to another successful campaign this year and are focused on fighting a disease that affects so many in our community.”

Visitors to The Domain, Round Rock Premium Outlets and San Marcos Premium Outlets will notice the pink theme carried out at the Guest Services booths and staff will be honoring National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donning pink accessories. Other planned activities include:

Discount Card Program: Discount Cards will be sold for $5 at Barton Creek Square, The Domain and Lakeline Mall and for $10 at Round Rock Premium Outlets and San Marcos Premium Outlets, providing 15% or 25% off one item at participating retailers September 29-October 31. All proceeds from the sale of Discount Cards go to Susan G. Komen.

Gift Cards: Simon is offering a Susan G. Komen Visa® Simon Giftcard. For every Gift Card purchased, Simon will donate $1 towards Susan G. Komen.**

Hero Photo Opportunity:  At San Marcos Premium Outlets, an ‘I Am More Than Pink’ backdrop will be used as a photo selfie station during the month of October at Guest Services. All will be encouraged to use the hashtag #morethanpink.

Local Programming:

Barton Creek Square

On October 7 from 1-4 p.m., shoppers will receive a pink cotton candy cone for a $3 donation.

The Domain – Pink gift with purchase packages will be available at Guest Services at The Domain while supplies last through the month of October.

San Marcos Premium Outlets – Discount Cards will be sold at UGG in addition to Guest Services. At both locations, customers will receive a free pink warrior scarf and complimentary Savings Passport with $10 donation.
