UPDATE: Bomb Threat at Hays High School Ends In Arrest

On April 23, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to Jack C. Hays High School, 4800 Jack C. Hays Trail, Kyle Texas, in reference to a bomb threat that had been written on a bathroom wall advising that multiple locations would be detonated at 3:50 p.m.
 
The suspect has been identified as: DUSTY WILLIAMSON (WHITE/MALE, 17 Years of age)
 
He was arrested this afternoon for: False Alarm or Report, Penal Code 42.06, State Jail Felony
 
There is no indication of any other suspects involved in this incident. The investigation was a cooperative effort between law enforcement and school officials. The incident involved response from Hays Consolidated Independent School District and multiple emergency services agencies including Hays County Sheriff’s Office, Kyle Police Department, Kyle Fire Department, San Marcos/Hays County EMS and the Texas Department of Public Safety. Hays County appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this incident.
