SMCISD – Miller MS Regional Choir Vocalists Winners

Saturday, January 24th, 2015, 17 Miller Middle School students auditioned for the Region 18 Honor Choir at Pflugarville Middle School. Seven Miller students advanced to be a part of the Honor Choir along with two very close alternates. Students who are selected will perform in a clinic / concert on Saturday, February 7th from 8:00AM – 5:00PM at the Bastrop Performing Arts Center. This is a outstanding honor since about 600-700 students audition, and only 210 students actually get to sing in these select honor choirs.

The Miller Middle School vocalists are: Josie Lesikar (10th Chair Soprano 1), Ashley Storch (5th Chair Soprano 1), Shyanne Bermuda (3rd Chair Alto), Ariana Morrow (10th chair – Alto), Joaquin Garza (1st chair tenor 1 – not in photo) Cayden Guice (10th Chair Bass), Henry North (9th chiar Tenor 2). Our alternates are Darroll Barton (not in photo) and Nadira Khoussinov.

Mario Contreras, Miller choir director, states,”I couldn’t be more proud of the group!”
