Students & Staff Use Senior Ditch Day To Help Flood Victims

Many San Marcos High School students and student-athletes spent their Senior Skip Day and the weeken volunteering with flood relief efforts. In addition to the Phoenix Learning Center students who volunteered at the Donation Center, groups of high school students representing softball, baseball, basketball, and football programs, along with some coaches, helped clear debris in flooded areas. In addition, members of the SMCISD Transportation Department kept the bus wheels rolling last weekend bring meals to families in need and volunteers who were working in areas of flood relief.
