San Marcos City Council to discuss filling city clerk vacancy

SAN MARCOS — The San Marcos City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, June 13 at 5:15 p.m. to discuss filling the city clerk vacancy and to deliberate the possible acquisition of property for parks purposes in executive session.

The previous City of San Marcos City Clerk Tammy Cook has moved to the city clerk position in Wimberley. Currently, Cook’s role is being filled by Interim City Clerk Elizabeth Trevino. During their special meeting council members will discuss filling the city clerk vacancy in executive session.

The other item on the agenda for Monday is to receive a staff update and deliberate regarding the possible acquisition of property for parks purposes.
