Celebrate Spring with Farmer Fred
Spring is near, and it’s time to celebrate at the annual Farmer Fred’s Garden Spring Carnival! The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department encourages community members and visitors of all ages to join them on Thursday, March 24 from 6-9 p.m. at San Marcos Plaza Park, located at 206 N CM Allen Parkway.
Volunteers are still needed to help run the carnival booths. If you, your organization, or your business are interested in manning a booth, please call 512.393.8249 to sign up.
This beloved community tradition is free to the public thanks to the support of generous sponsors and volunteers. Featuring carnival games, a variety of activities, and the highly anticipated egg hunt, the Spring Carnival is fun for all. There will be pictures with the bunny for $3, along with train rides and concessions for a small price.
The egg hunt is divided into the following age groups:
• 1-3 years old – 6:15 p.m.
• 4-5 years old – 6:45 p.m.
• 6-9 years old – 7:15 p.m.
• 10-12 years old – 7:45 p.m.
