everything they can to minimize disruptions.
I-35 CORRIDOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
SUNDAY 8/26 – SATURDAY 9/1
I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the bridge structures at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, as well as the frontage road bridge over Williamson Creek.
New U-turn bridges will be added in both directions at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, and the I-35 mainlanes will be widened to incorporate shoulders and extended entrance/exit lanes to allow for better merging.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements are also being made, and new safety lighting is being installed.

- Northbound I-35 left lane closed under William Cannon Dr. | 10 PM until 6 AM Sunday, August 26 through Thursday, August 30
- Alternating northbound I-35 frontage road closures between Stassney Ln. and Williamson Creek. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 27 through Tuesday, August 28
- Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between the William Cannon Dr. exit and Boggy Creek Dr. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 27 through Thursday, August 30
- I-35 U-turn bridge at William Cannon Dr. closed. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 27 through Thursday, August 30

I-35 AT OLTORF ST.
PROJECT OVERVIEW | Improvements include the reconstruction of the Oltorf Street bridge, improving entrance/exit ramps and frontage roads, constructing new extended entrance/exit lanes for mainlanes and ramps, and adding U-turns in both directions at Oltorf Street.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements will also be made along the I-35 frontage roads in each direction within the project limits.

- Southbound I-35 frontage road closed as needed between Oltorf St. and Woodward St. Watch for flaggers. | 8 AM until 5 PM Monday, August 27 through Thursday, August 30
- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between SH 71 and Woodward St. | 9 AM until 3 PM and 8 PM until 5 AM Monday, August 27 through Thursday, August 30
- Southbound I-35 frontage road closures between the Woodland Ave. exit and Woodland Ave. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 27 through Friday, August 31
- Various I-35 frontage road closures in both directions at Oltorf St. | 8 PM until 5 AM Tuesday, August 28 through Thursday, August 30

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LN. TO US 290 EAST
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project includes main-lanes and frontage road reconstruction and the addition of three new flyovers at US 183.
The project also includes reconstruction of the St. Johns Avenue Bridge, the addition of frontage road U-turns on both sides, intersection bypass lanes under St. Johns Avenue in both directions, extended entrance/exit lanes, and ramp and shoulder improvements.

- I-35 traffic signals switch at US 290 E. Watch for police directing traffic. | From 7 AM until 11 AM Saturday, August 25
- Southbound I-35 right lane closed between US 183 and US 290 E. | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 26 through Monday, August 27
- I-35 left lane closed in both directions between US 183 and US 290 E. | From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, August 26 through Thursday, August 30
- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between US 183 and Rundberg Ln. The exit and entrance ramps at Rundberg Ln. will also be closed. | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 26 through Thursday, August 30
- Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between US 183 and St. Johns Ave. and between Huntland Dr. and US 290 E. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 27 through Friday, August 31
- Northbound I-35 right lane closed between US 290 E. and St. Johns Ave. | 9 PM until 5 Tuesday, August 28 through Wednesday, August 29

I-35 AT FM 3406
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The intersection of FM 3406 and the I-35 frontage roads are being improved, and the FM 3406 bridge over I-35 is being reconstructed.
The FM 3406 (Old Settlers Blvd) bridge will close to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic will detour to the newly constructed U-turn Bridge. | Until summer 2018, weather permitting.

- Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane under FM 3406. | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 26 through Thursday, August 30
- Southbound I-35 right lane closed between RM 1431 and FM 3406. The FM 3406 exit #254 and the following entrance ramp will also close as needed. | 8 PM until 5 AM Monday, August 27 and Tuesday, August 28

- I-35 left lane closed in both directions between Holly St. and Manor Rd. | 9 PM until 5 AM Wednesday, August 29 through Thursday, August 30
- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Three Points Rd. and Cheddar Loop Rd. The exit and entrance ramps for Wells Branch Parkway will also be closed. | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 26 through Monday, August 27

I–35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH
PROJECT OVERVIEW | New braided ramps (where one ramp crosses over the other) are being constructed along the northbound I-35 mainlanes between Hester’s Crossing and RM 620 to eliminate merging conflicts.
The northbound and southbound intersections of US 79 and the I-35 frontage roads are also being reconstructed to add a third left-turn for westbound US 79.
