San Marcos Reschedules First Party In Your Park 2018

Party in Your Park is a series of events that will bring positive attention to the city’s neighborhood parks four times a year.

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department has rescheduled this month’s Party in Your Park at Franklin Square Park due to forecasts of rainy weather.

Originally scheduled for Feb. 23, the event has been moved to Friday, March 9 at Franklin Square Park, 1902 N Bishop St., from 6-9 p.m.

Party in Your Park is a series of events that will bring positive attention to the city’s neighborhood parks four times a year. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy a fun, safe evening while socializing with their neighbors.

Activities will include Gaga Ball, Mega Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and other oversized yard games. Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided at no cost. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs to sit on if needed.
