TXST, Hays CISD, And Hays Co. Announces Closings Or Late Start/Open Times
 
University Delays Opening Of Feb. 24 Classes, Operations
SAN MARCOS – Due to the potential for hazardous driving conditions, both the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses of Texas State University will delay opening of business operations until 10 a.m. and the start of classes until 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Any student, faculty or staff who has not yet registered their cell phone number for emergency text alerts is encouraged to do so now by accessing the following link: www.emergencyinfo.txstate.edu/.

 
 
As always, Texas State faculty members, staff members and students should exercise their own best judgment regarding the safety of their travel based on their local conditions. Pay attention to local media outlets and www.txstate.edu, the university’s website, for additional updates on the university’s operational schedule.

 
Hays Cisd Delays Some Start Times & Cancels Others
Hays CISD id operating on a 2-hour delay for Tuesday morning – February 24, 2015. All morning activities are canceled. Buses will run behind normal schedule. All pre-K programs, both am and pm are canceled.

Hays County Offices Delay Opening
County Judge Bert Cobb, M.D., has announced that Hays County government offices will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 24, instead of 8 a.m. Commissioners Court will begin as usual at 9 a.m.
 
Any changes to this planned delayed opening will be announced by 6 a.m. Tuesday.
