UPDATE: Body Of Adult Male Found In Buda Identified

The Travis County Medical Examiner has identified the body of a man found in Buda yesterday, July 26, at a residence in the 200 block of Brandons Way.

On July 26, 2018, at approximately 8:30 am, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 200 block of Brandons Way in Buda, Texas for a Welfare Concern.

During the investigation the responding deputies located a deceased adult male.

The deceased person in this case has been identified as:

Brandon Lamont Fotnette, Black Male, 36 years of age, Buda, TX, resident.

The Travis County Medical Examiner’s office has ruled the cause of Fotnette’s death a homicide. This case is still being actively investigated.

There is no public safety concerns and  the Hays County Sheriff’s Office will be releasing more details as they become available.
