UPDATE: Hays County Jail Escape, Girlfriend Apprehended

Omar Maya-Rangel, Hispanic Male, 29 years of age

Warrant: Escape

Marinda Seawright, White Female, 32 years of age

Warrant: Permitting or Facilitating Escape

They were apprehended in Houston, Harris County Texas at approximately 4:00 a.m. this morning. An officer conducted a traffic stop on their vehicle. The officer recognized the subjects and was able to confirm their identities. Additional charges were filed of:

Fail to Identify – Fugitive after they supplied fictitious information to the officer.

The subjects are awaiting transport back to Hays County. No other information is immediately available for dissemination.
