Gary Job Corps Assists With San Marcos’ Business To Business Expo

Jason stated that many presenters came up to him and thanked him for the help. He said that “we could not have done it so well without the students from Gary, again thanks to students.” 

Gary Job Corps students have assisted with the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce Business to Business Expo in setting up vendors and service organizations for the past 15 years.

Chamber President Jason Mock said “the students from the Gary Job Corps were invaluable with the assistance they gave to the vendors setting up; I have worked with the Gary Job Corps Center and have always found the students to be very professional and courteous”.

Further, Jason stated that many presenters came up to him and thanked him for the help. He said that “we could not have done it so well without the students from Gary, again thanks to students.”

Students from Gary Job Corps have assisted with many organizations (San Marcos Youth Shelter, Hays/Caldwell County Women’s Center, San Marcos Chamber and Kyle Chambers of Commerce, and SMICISD, naming the few of the many)  throughout the years and fundraising efforts for: Tour de Cure, Alzheimer Walk, Pink Heals, Martindale Library, American Heart Walk, and Hays County Food Bank.
