On Friday, Nov. 16, the Wimberley Independent School District Board of Trustees canvassed the 2018 election results and welcomed their new addition to the board.

Rob Campbell took his place as a newly sworn-in Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees Place 3 last Friday. Lori Olson, Place 1, and Traci Maxwell, Place 2, were also congratulated by the board for their reelection.

Other trustees include board president in place 6, Gina Fulkerson, board vice president in place 5, Joe Malone, in Place 7, Ken Strange; and in place 4, Tina Pennington.

“Thanks, Wimberley, for your overwhelming support during the campaign. Words fall short of my gratitude to each of you. I do not take lightly the confidence and trust you have placed in me. I will serve cooperatively with the WISD Administration, Teachers, Board of Trustees, parents, and students. Further, I support WISD’s current vision: Empowering and Inspiring ALL Students to Achieve Their Full Potential,” said Campbell.

The Trustees will hold their next regular board meeting on December 17 and will host a special bond update community forum on Thursday, November 29, at 6:30 PM at the WISD District Offices Board Room, 951 FM 2325.
