The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Grande Communications and Cricket Wireless, presents the 2018 Movies in Your Park series.

Movies in Your Park is a free community event held on Tuesdays in June and July at San Marcos Plaza Park, located at 201 N. C M Allen Pkwy.

This year’s movies are:

There will not be a movie on Tuesday, July 3, due to preparations for the SummerFest Independence Day Celebration.

Pre-movie activities hosted by Angel Drops, Texas Health & Racquet Club, Keep San Marcos Beautiful, and other community organizations begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by the movie at 8:45 p.m. It is recommended to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

Concessions will be available for purchase from the Association of Recreation Enthusiasts, and Kona Ice will be on site selling snow cones. Glass, Styrofoam, alcohol, and smoking are not permitted. A complete list of park rules can be found at www.sanmarcostx.gov/parkrules.
