Texas State PR team fosters partnership between Dell Children’s and greek life

Staff Reports

SAN MARCOS — The Texas State University PR team has partnered with on-campus greek life organizations to create get-well cards for Dell Children’s Medical Center patients.

The partnership in March between greek life and Dell Children’s has been created by the Bateman team, in hopes of acomplishing their PR campaign goal of raising awareness of lymphoma among the community.

“This partnership is an amazing opportunity to unite the Texas State campus with the greater San Marcos area around the same goal of increasing awareness of cancers such as lymphoma,” Carson jones, Bateman team leader said. “Through this, we can increase the university’s perception of cancer, while making sure cancer patience know they are always thought of.”

After March 11, the Bateman team will submit their campaign to the national judges to be evaluated on its effectiveness.

If you or someone you know has been affected with lymphoma, feel free to email phytelymphoma@gmail.com to share your story with the Bateman team. If you wish, you can do so anonymously. You can also follow the Bateman team’s campaign through its social media platforms @phytelymphoma.
