Are You Getting This Email? ‘AVG Antivirus Software License Expiration’

 

Tuesday afternoon our friends at RMK Consulting sent out the email below letting their clients know of “Alert” emails with AVG antivirus software.

 

We know their are a lot of our readers out there who also use AVG, so we think it is our duty to pass on this information as well.

AVG License Expiration

 

We have been made aware that several of our clients are receiving alerts that their AVG antivirus software has expired. Don’t worry, it hasn’t.

 

AVG is aware of the issue and is working to fix it. They have stated that machines displaying this error are still protected.

 

As soon as they release a fix, we will test it and push it out to all of our clients machines.  If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
