From Our Family To Yours, Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

I can’t believe another year is coming to an end. Corridor News will turn six in June 2020, and just like children do, it’s getting older in a blink of an eye.

In May, Corridor gained a new family member in the form of a second canine mascot. The Australian Shepherd pup, Mo, will turn one in March 2020 and maybe make a few surprise appearances in the future.

Every year Corridor News grows more and more. Our readership has once again nearly doubled on average.

This year has had its ups and downs; it’s had its struggles and tragedies as well as its blessings.

San Marcos Police Officer Claudia Cormier, who was struck by an alleged drunk driver in May, was able to go home from the hospital in August.

The community has supported her every step of the way and looks forward to her recovery and return to the streets in the future.

The Wimberley Texans defeated the Silsbee Tigers in the 4A-Division II Championship semifinals and went on to face off with the Pleasant Grove Hawks in the championship game.

The City of San Marcos bid farewell to a number of its veteran staff members.

Access Dental Lab Tx announced its intentions to move into the Hays Logistics Center in Kyle.

Gumby’s Pizza finally received their Conditional Use Permit, and the new Baylor Scott & White Medical Center opened in Buda.

With the mystery of the fate of Capes Dam and its historic designation still unsolved, 2020 is already looking to be an—interesting year.

President Donald Trump will seek reelection; the world begins a new decade, and Texans will have another opportunity to fry an egg on the sidewalk in the summer heat.

We want to thank La Cima, CTMC, JCO Pool Service, Cody’s , Willow Creek HOA and all of our advertisers and clients for a great year at Corridor News.

And last but not least, we want to thank all of our readers; we are grateful to every single person who reads us! We wouldn’t be here without you.

Over this holiday season, we’ll celebrate the lives of those who were lost, remember the struggles and tragedies we survived as a community and silently thank whoever may have spiked the eggnog at last night’s holiday party.

Corridor News is blessed to be a part of and serve such a vibrant and diverse community.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Warm Wishes from our family to yours. Here’s to a new year.
