Gary Job Corps Community Relations Council Donates To San Marcos Animal Shelter

This means they accept lost and owner surrendered animals from all cities within Hays County, never turning animals away for any reason.

The Gary Job Corps Community Relations Council (CRC) donated $389.19 and approximately 200 lbs in linens/towels for the animals.

The CRC has also donated to the Martindale Library, San Marcos Youth Shelter, Hays Caldwell County Women’s Center, and San Marcos Area Food Bank, naming a few of the organizations.

The City of San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter is the animal housing facility for all of Hays County. They are a part of the Marshal’s Office, for the City of San Marcos, municipal shelter and their facility is an open admission animal shelter.

This means they accept lost and owner surrendered animals from all cities within Hays County, never turning animals away for any reason.

The services they offer include animal control service for San Marcos city limits, a volunteer program (http://www.sanmarcostx.gov/index.aspx?page=96), public education, and a regular location for Emancipet, a low cost spay/neuter service.
