San Marcos Public Library To Host ‘Stronger Together’ Volunteer Fair

Looking for a way to give back to the community?

A volunteer fair will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the San Marcos Public Library, 625 E. Hopkins.

Meet coordinators from a wide variety of groups, including the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance, The San Marcos Youth Service Bureau, School Fuel, A.W.A.R.E., Therapeutic Horseback Riding, Friends of the San Marcos Aquatic Resource Center, Community Action/Head Start, CASA of Central Texas, Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center, the San Marcos River Foundation, the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, PAWS Shelter, the Hays County Food Bank, and the public library’s own “StarTeen” program.

The “Stronger Together” Volunteer Fair is a fun way to network with community members who are making a difference, learn about the amazing services they provide, and see if you might want to give some time giving back to the community with the help of these reputable organizations.
