Join The Bobcat Club As They “Step Up For State”

These scholarships provide young men and women with the opportunity to pursue their athletic dreams while earning a top-flight education.

SAN MARCOS, TX – Step Up for State is Texas State’s annual online giving event lasting 1,899 minutes from 10:00 AM on October 3rd to 5:39 P.M. on October 4th.

Gifts will provide scholarships for students, further our ambitious research efforts and help provide Bobcats with world-class facilities and programs.

During the two days of Step Up for State, you will have the opportunity to become an associate level member of the Bobcat Club for only $19.71. This number represents the year that President Lyndon B. Johnson provided a $25,000 donation to the Bobcat Club and began a legacy of supporting our student-athletes through scholarships.

If individuals want to help Texas State athletic programs succeed, joining the Bobcat Club is the best way to do that. Contributions to the Bobcat Club help fund scholarships that attract high caliber student-athletes to Texas State University.

These scholarships provide young men and women with the opportunity to pursue their athletic dreams while earning a top-flight education.

Individuals will receive an email from us on the morning of October 3rd with the link to join the Bobcat Club through the Step Up for State portal. These are the only two days of the year where you can become a member for less than $20, and we hope that you will help support our 350 student-athletes.
