“There is no better place to launch this bold, next step in the evolution of Aaron’s than in the state of Texas, known for its big, bold ideas,” said John Robinson, CEO of Aaron’s, Inc.
Aaron’s, Inc., a leading omnichannel provider of lease-purchase solutions, unveiled its new retail store design that features a customized lease-to-own shopping experience last week with a three-day long grand opening celebration in San Marcos, TX.
The new retail store design features first of its kind technology in the lease-to-own industry, including software that allows customers to custom-build furniture, and a unique on-site “rapid approval” process to shorten the time it takes for customers to be approved for lease-to-own agreements.
The new approval process cuts down the in-store wait time by over 75 percent to a maximum of 10 minutes.
In addition, the store includes a “race track” layout where associates can walk customers through all areas of merchandise including appliances, electronics and upholstered furniture designed and manufactured by Aaron’s furniture division Woodhaven.
Customers will place furniture orders in-store and receive their items via an off-site fulfillment service, optimizing the delivery process, keeping showrooms stocked with the company’s latest furniture, technology and appliances and ensuring each product delivered is in pristine condition.
“There is no better place to launch this bold, next step in the evolution of Aaron’s than in the state of Texas, known for its big, bold ideas,” said John Robinson, CEO of Aaron’s, Inc. “Aaron’s carefully and deliberately designed this store model to offer customers an improved in-store experience with state-of-the-art technology and new merchandise options making our lease-to-own process simpler and even more appealing.”
Aaron’s, Inc. commemorated the opening by presenting a $5,000 in-kind donation of merchandise to the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas: Mitchell Center Unit.
Local Club teens attended the event, getting an opportunity to utilize Aaron’s innovative in-store software program to design a customized couch for their club.
“Aaron’s is excited to serve the San Marcos community with our new, unique store model, which provides our customers with a modern shopping experience and affordable home furnishings,” said Tom Carey, Aaron’s, Inc. vice president of marketing. “[Last] weekend’s grand opening celebration reflected the excitement and appetite our customers have for these types of consumer-friendly services.”
