City Of Buda Invites Community To Participate In Texas Arbor Day Celebration

Arbor day is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant trees. Today, many countries observe such a holiday. 

The City of Buda’s Sustainability Commission and the Buda Library are inviting the community to join in and celebrate Texas Arbor Day with the City on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018.

The Buda Public Library and the City’s Sustainability Commission will host a speaker and children’s’ activities from 10 a.m. through noon at the library.

Delbert Bassett from the Hays Master Gardeners will give a presentation on Caring for Texas Native Trees beginning at 10 a.m. in the Library Classroom. Children’s activities including a tree scavenger hunt will take place in the Library reading garden. Please join us for a fun morning learning about Buda’s beautiful trees!
