BR3T Welcomes Heart 9/11 to Help Rebuild Flood-Damaged Homes

Thirty members of Heart 9/11 will be on the ground for five days this week to help rebuild homes that were heavily damaged by the Memorial Weekend 2015 flood along Rio Bonito Road in Wimberley.

Heart 9/11 is a volunteer group of active and retired firefighters and law enforcement officers that helps communities rebuild as a thank-you to the nation for its support of the people and communities of New York City following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Blanco River Regional Recovery Team is proud to host this great organization and appreciates its assistance.

The team will be here for a week, focusing on three homes that need sheet rock, float and tape prior to painting so that families can then move in and restart their lives.
