Craddock Median Ribbon Cutting Scheduled

The initiative to redesign the medians was launched Sept. 14, 2016 with funds from the Community Enhancement Fee being allocated for three years to finance the project.

The City of San Marcos Community Services- Community Enhancement Division will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Craddock Avenue Median project on Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the corner of Craddock Ave. and Archie St.  The public is invited to attend.

Construction began on Craddock in March 2018 and includes more than 23,000 square feet of native plantings and decorative stonework within the medians at a cost of $262,847 from the Community Enhancement Fund.

The event will feature tours of the newly landscaped medians, speakers, and refreshments.
